For Smartphone Users: Quick Access Instead of Push Alerts

The fastest way to get our detailed forecasts is to add our website to your home screen. This creates an icon that behaves almost like a native app, taking you directly to the current forecast with a single tap.

• For iPhone/iPad (Safari): Open our website in Safari. Tap the "Share" icon (the square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen."
• For Android (Chrome): Open our website in Chrome. Tap the three dots in the top right to open the menu. Select "Add to Home screen."

This gives you quick access to all information, including prominently displayed official weather warnings from the DWD, without any additional app installations.

If you run your own website (e.g., for a hotel, a restaurant, or a local blog), you can embed our free weather widget to provide live weather data as an added value to your visitors.

How it works:

1. Visit our Widget Page: Go to our Weather Widget configuration page.
2. Select a City: Choose the city for which the weather should be displayed.
3. Copy the Code: Copy the provided HTML code snippet.
4. Paste on Your Website: Paste the code into the HTML of your website where you want the widget to appear.
