Weather-Based Shopping Tips for Karlsruhe

Spring (March-May)

Spring in the "Fan City" is mild and sunny. The Kaiserstraße, the long main shopping street, is perfect for an extensive stroll. In case of a shower, the Ettlinger Tor shopping center offers shelter. It's the ideal time to find a light jacket for bike rides through the many parks.

Summer (June-August)

Summers in Karlsruhe are hot. Look for swimwear in the sports stores for a trip to the nearby quarry ponds ("Baggerseen"). The many street cafés in the city center offer a welcome break. The summer sales are a great opportunity to find light linen and cotton clothing.

Autumn (September-November)
